The school promotes Meal of the Week in conjunction with our school cook. Check out the school newsletters for the current meal events in school. Remember, you can change your meal preference daily from packed lunch to school dinner, so try and sample the good food on offer! During the Autumn term there is a choice of a hot meal, jacket potato or sandwich.
North Yorkshire County Council School Meal Service provide our school meals that meet the Government's new guidelines in Nutritional Standards. This means:
- More fruit and vegetables - No less than two servings a day, one will be vegetables or salad. Fruit is available every day.
- More oily fish - Oily fish such as mackerel or salmon will be served once every three weeks.
- Bread - a different bread will be available every day.
- Drinking water - Fresh drinking water is available over lunchtime.

Mealtimes are as follows: Foundation Stage from 11:45am, Year 1 and Year 2 from 12 p.m., Years 3-6 from 12.15 p.m.
School meals are now FREE to all EYFS, Y1 and Y2 pupils. (click here)
For KS2 pupils the price of a school meal is £2.10.
