HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT

30 hours per week 8.30 am – 3.30 pm - term time only – established contract

Salary Grade F (Point Grade 8-13)

Bedale School Governors are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) from September 2020.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and dedicated to join our dynamic team. The role will be to provide some in-class support as well as some supervision of whole classes across the school during the short-term absence of teachers, and to cover some planning, preparation and assessment time.

Our ideal Higher Level Teaching Assistant will:

• Have experience of working in both key stages
• Have strong English and Maths skills
• Have HLTA status or working towards HLTA status
• Be willing to support all aspects of school life.
• Promote positive attitudes to learning and behaviour

ADVANCED TEACHING ASSISTANT

32.5 hours per week 8.30 am – 3.30 pm - term time only – established contract
The successful candidate will also be required to assist with external lunchtime supervision

Salary Grade D (Point Grade 4-6)

Bedale School Governors are looking to appoint an Advanced Teaching Assistant (ATA) from September 2020.

Applications are welcome from experience adults who have a real desire to work and support children in their development.

We appoint on merit and welcome applications from all sections of the community.

The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS.
